Fantastic New collection of Downloads-The Cat Collection

Wow! go have a look at the new downloads available on charmed Cards and Crafts, designed by Louise Brigden.
The new Collection is The Cat Collection, a wonderful array if different types of cats, Cheeky cats,a dangling kitty they are wonderful. This is just a taster, the deisgns lend themselves to bright New England fabrics, shabby chic or pastel papers,ribbons and flowers,the possibilities are endless!

DOTTIE T-SHIRTS

As its such lovely weather I made some t-shirts.

I used 'funtime Dottie' download for the summertime Dottie T and 'Dottie at home'(see the blinkie) for the Pink T.

Using Iron on transfer paper for light fabrics from CraftyComputor Paper,excellant company,first class delivery times!!
Anyway...

I imported an image onto word and adjusted the image to my desired size,then added the'summertime Dottie' in on WordArt and added colour accordingly.

I then printed the deign onto the transfer paper. Leaving it to dry throughly I then used Whispers Watercolour Pens to add the colour, they work perfectly ,straight onto the transfer paper!!

Cutting around the images and peeling the backing paper off the transfer,using a wax paper sheet ontop between iron and image, I used a hot,dry Iron, best to try a sample piece as the iron has to be hot enough to seal the transfer or else the design wont be water proof and will run when wet or washed,I have the iron on Cotton but with no steam,obviously it depends what fabric you are using too,these are cotton t-shirts,would you believe only 75p from Asda!!!

And these are the finished results!!

Happy Day Recipe!! Stamp challenge

I have made this card for the Crafts Beautiful Challenge 'Food' anything food related, or chefs, shopping etc.

I used dottie at home download and George at work download , available at charmed cards and crafts,click the blinkies,I also used a download backing paper from Crafts Beautiful March 08 for the cake paper, the bookmark(which is the first time i have made one for a card!) was made by using a lovely un-mounted stamp from Stamp Magick in the states, she is so quick with her delivery and as the stamps I buy are un-mounted the postage doesnt cost much. I attached the bookmark to the card with a brad so it can be removed.

FIREMAN GEORGE-YOU LIGHT MY FIRE!!

I TYPED IN FLAME ON CLIP ART AND FOUND THE BACKING PICTURES OF THE FLAMES AND HEART.

I EMBOSSED THE FLAME PIC WITH CUTTLEBUG SCRIPT,ADDED GEORGE TO IT AND LAYERED WITH RED GLITTER CARD.

TYPED AND PRINTED THE SENTIMENT ON WORD AND FINISHED WITH RED METALIC BRADS.

I've got a 'Dottie' Card

I had two lovely suprises today!

One was a lovely Easter ATC and little gift bag of mini eggs, from Silver custard/Claire of Craft Beautiful fame. That was sucha a lovely suprise thankyou Claire



And I am now the proud owner of a 'Dottie' Card!!!! The first person to receive one!!

MY FIRST EXPLODING BOX

I MADE THIS, YET AGAIN WITH THE TUTORIAL FROM CHARMED CARDS & CRAFTS.
THIS IS MY FIRST EVER EXPLODING BOX,I DIDNT HAVE ANY MATCHING PAPERS FOR INSIDE, SO I LIKE THE OUTSIDE, BUT THE INSIDE IS RANDOM RATHER THAN FLOWING!THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOXES HAVE LOVELY CO-ORDINATING PAPERS & RIBBONS & LOOK QUITE SPECTACULAR. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MAKING THIS BOX, SO WATCH THIS SPACE FOR MY FINE TUNED BOXES.
