Look Louly, My 10year old Daughter just did this!!

I was so impressed, I had to show everyone, my 10year old had a go with Loulys fabulous Dottie download, I think she did a brilliant job, she was a bit upset as she caught the sticky on the card before she had a chance to straighten it, dst not very forgiving is it!

I said I think it looks like it was supposed tobe like it.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge'People'

The challenge this week over on Cute Card Thursday , is 'People'
'As we had 'All Creatures Great and Small' as our challenge last week, we think it's only fair to have 'People' as the theme for this week. Any people image is fine, it could be Magnolias, Bellas, Nellies, Lolas or any others."
This card I have made for another teacher that is leaving my daughters school, this one is more of a friend, as she taught my son too, so I thought Au Revoir instead of goodbye would suit.I love the Magnolia tree stamp, it is just so nice to paint!

A Leaving Card

I made this card for my daughters teacher who is leaving on Friday, I used my ever faithful watercolour pens for this, I love the shading you can get with them.

My first doodle designCard/Lets Get Crafting challenge

This card is made completely from my own design, I drew the doodle then copied it on the pc and printed the design four or five times on various coloured card, which is in the Lets Get Crafting Magazine, as their Challenge is to make a card using their kit. I then cut the different aspects of the pic out of the different card, fixed them all together Like a patchwork, so I then added the stitching effect to make it look as if it had been sewn together in a patchwork square. I then made a tag by drawing a simple shape and cutting out and added the greeting, added the lovely flowers which were from the Crafty Template kit. The gingham backing paper is a download from the Craft Beautiful site too.

If you would like to use my doodle please be my guest, all I ask is that say where you got it from and leave a comment to say you have copied it. Thankyou.

ATC tin...

As it is Switch off/Go Green Week I thought I would recycle something. I had a sudden brain wave, that the empty tin for Colemans mustard powder is the exact right size for ATC’s. I wrap the tin in some lovely paper I had buried, then using a punch I punched out some flowers with the same paper & shaded the edges. Added a bit of ‘bling’ with the gems. for the lid I just stippled on some black & red stazon & finished with dabbing gold Brilliance on it, then I added the flowers and gems to the lid. Th whole thing measures just 2 3/4 ins x 4 3/4 ins.

My Paperworld Sketch#6

This is my card for My paperworld's brilliant sketch challenge. Sketch #6

I had some lovely oriental card with bamboo so worked with that, I stamped the geisha, added hot foil in gold on her head dress and some flowersoft for the flowers in her hair. The writing says, if I remember,...Health,wealth,love & happiness, not sure they are in that order.
