HOW TO MAKE A TRIPLE,DOUBLE TWISTED,EASEL CARD,USING THE ULTIMATE PRO BOARD FROM CRAFTERS COMPANION

Here is my pictorial on how to make a
Triple,Double Twisted,Easel Card.
I have explained just the basic card, so you can add your own designs.
I have, for demonstration purposes, used the brand new
Humphrey images from the New Humphreys Corner cd's available from Crafters Companion.

 What you Need:-
Crafters Companion Ultimate pro Board ( not essential, but is what i have used in this pictorial)
2 x centura pearl A4 card.
Collall glue gel & syringe
1, With your card landscape, butt up to the handle and score along the Half fold A5 line
2; Turning your card portrait, again, butt up to the handle and score, to the centre score line, the Tri-fold A4 line
3; Turning your card around portrait again, but with the opposite end now butted up to the handle, score the Tri-Fold A4 line,up to centre score line
4; Your a4 piece of card should now be scored like this
5; Using the ruler & knife inside your Ultmate pro, cut the 3 sections to the centre score line
6; Fold over and  crease sharply, your card, looking like this
7; On the left section score diagonally bottom left to top right, lining up your card across a line
8; For the right section score a diagonal line, top left corner to bottom right corner.
9; For the centre section, score along the Gate fold a5/concertina a5 line horizonatally
10; Fold and sharply crease the scored sections so you card looks like this.
11; With your second piece of a4 card, do exactly as the first piece, but cut the score lines instead of just scoring. so you have three smaller squares and 1 long a4 length strip.
12; Add glue to the bottom half of the centre section and add one piece your cut square cards
13, For the right section, add glue to the left triangle and add your 2nd piece of cut card
14; For the left section add glue to the right triangle and add your 3rd piece of cut card
15; Glue the bottom strip of card onto the bottom of the folded card
And here is your un-decorated Triple,Double twisted Easel Card.
16; Make sure the outside design faces inwards when gluing so when stood up, the picture will be facing the right direction.
Hope this pictorial is of use to you.

Humphrey 2nd Sneek Peek!

Here as promised is my 2nd sneek peek at the new
'Humphrey' launch
with Crafters Companion.
On Ideal world tuesday 24th May 2011. 9pm,Pick of the Day.

Here i used a frame card from one of the cds, also one of the tags which are available.
I sprayed the frame & base image with Irridescent Spray & Sparkle & made up the decoupage with Collall glue gel.
Then, using the new Envelobox Creator I made a box to fit the whole card in, as the tage protrudes from the edge would make it difficult to fit in an envelope, so using the envelobox board i made the box and printed an insert from the cd to match the frame card and again sprayed with Spray & Shine Irredecent spray, all available from Crafters Companion!

Keep checking back for more and have a look at the Crafters Companion blog, as from today they will be linking to the Design Teams blogs to give you some amazing inspiration, that makes Humphrey a must have!!!

JOANNA SHEEN MEETS SHEENA DOUGLASS' FUSION

Here is a large square card ,using centura pearl card for the blue base card.
I cut a blue piece of card out with the largest labels one of the Grand Calibur dies, then did the paint fusion crackled wood effect, which is shown on Sheena Douglass' paint fusion dvd.
I then used Joanna Sheens Jayne Netley Mayhew pt 2 cd and printed the Blue tit and cut away the background to it looks like its perched on an old shed or fence. To make up the decoupage i used Collall glue gel, which doesnt have an odour like Silicone glue. This and the Centura Pearl card is available from Crafters Companion.
The box for the card was made using the new Enveloper, also available from Crafters companion,i chose the 7insx 7ins card and 3/4ins depth, there is a leaflet with the exact size to make the perfect 3d envelope for your decoupage!

EVERYDAY CD & STAMPS-CRAFTERS COMPANION

YEY blogger is back up and running!
Here is one of my samples from the
Crafters Companion CD & Stamps Everyday Collection.
This is a large 8.25x8.25 square card which is using the full width of  a4 centura pearl card and scoring a square, this leaves you about a 3ins flap to attach a 8.25x8.25 square onto the back,to make the card.
I printed the backing paper and sprayed with Spray & Sparkle Irredescent spray,in the Alphabet section, i printed the letters to spell Cherish, spraying the sheet with Spray & Sparkle again, then cutting them out and mounting onto Centura pearl card and attaching to the card with Collall glue gel.
I also used a Spellbinders die to cut the topper out and printed the topper sheet ,cutting the desired dress out, spraying again with Spray & Sparkle and attaching with more Collall glue gel.
The flowers & ribbon are also attached using glue gel.
All items available from Crafters Companion!

Angel Whispers-Reddy Decoupage-Crafters Companion

Here is one of my samples for Sara's shows on Friday 29th on Create & Craft, this is using an image from the Reddy decoupage set of 'Angel Whispers' bought to you by Crafters Companion.
This is a double twisted Easel card, using Spell Binders die for the doily background, which i distressed using Tim Holtz Distress ink and a piece of cut & dry foam. If you leave your circle in the die and light shade around the edge before you remove it from the die.
The filgree heart and embossed heart and butterfly are Marianne Creatable, which i also added shading using Tim Holtz distress ink pad and faom.
Check back for details on how to make a double twisted Easel card using the Ultimate Pro Board from Crafters Companion
