More Paint fusion

Here are some more pieces ive made using Sheena Douglass' Paint fusion techniques, i used her daisy stamps for these.
I stamped onto Centura pearl card for the pads using Stazon and added  Tim Holtz Distress ink to give some dimension.,then sprayed with Spray & Shine.
The wooden tissue box cover, i stamped painted directly onto the bare untreated wood and then again sprayed with Spray & Shime from Crafters companion,to give a lovely clear varnish effect.

For the poem i searched Daisy poems on the web and used part of this lovely poem, printed onto paper and applied to the box, after scrunching the paper and distressing it,with watered down, cheap pva glue, which although goes on white it dries clear, when it was dry i stamped the daisies over the edge.

I thought for the top i'd make it look like a daisy chain, so i just stamped the individual daisy all around and painted in the stalks to look like a chain.

This is the other side of the box, as painted daisies on to 3 sides

This is the finished gift, a shopping list pad, a5 pad and a tissue box.

2nd attempt at Sheena Douglass' Paint fusion Daisies

Here is my 2nd attempt at Daisies,by Sheena Douglass'-Paint fusion, this time i used light blue, centura pearl card from Crafters companion and added a touch of Faded Jeans Tim Holtz Distress ink pad. Which i then sprayed with Spray & shine also from Crafters Companion.x

Sheena Douglass-Paint Fusion Daisies-Mothers Day Card

In the UK yesterday was Mothering Sunday.
Here is the A5 card i made for my mum, less is more with these images i think-.
I used Sheena Douglass' Paint Fusion Daisy Stamps and paint, although she suggests using a light blue for the backing of the Daisy petals, i havent got that colour at the mo, so i used lilac instead, with the yellow of the Centura Pearl card from Crafters companion, it doesnt notice, i added Tim Holtz Distress Ink Dried Marigold onto the card with cut & dry foam, which seems to lift the daisies out of the page, but the best thing for giving dimension to the flowers is Crafters Companion Spray & shine, this give a hard varnish which no only protects your paintings but brings all the colours out in the picture, adding dimension. I simply printed the sentiment out on MS word and ripped the paper and again distressed it a bit with Dried Marigold ink pad.
As this is my 1st attempt at Daisies,i do hope i inspire people to have a go, as i really cant paint, but following Sheena's instruction on the dvd it has made it possible!
