Bookatrix Card
I made this card back at the begining of March for a friend who loves wolves!
I used the images from Beauty and Beast cd rom from the glitter girls, I bought at Farnborough Make it 5 show.
The images are gorgeous and so easy to decoupage, they are soo 3 dimensional!

Sunday Challenge Dotties World
Its Louise's turn over on Dottie World and she wants us to make a shaped card, any shape apart from square or rectangle. And ofcourse use a Charmed Download.
I am now the proud owner of some Copics! Not many only pastel and hues ciaos and a blender pen, so skin not quite right colour.
Louise suggested I use really smooth paper so I used glossy photo paper and it worked, the colours didnt bleed! This image is from the download 'World tour' I printed it onto the glossy paper and she stands roughly a5 size, i used the most gorgeous glitter card I got from the glitter girls stand when I went to Farnborough 'Make it' 5.
For the sentiment I used a die cut circl and added the words using Letraset rub offs and prima flowers.

90th Birthday card for my lovely nan!
This is a large card i made for my nan for her 90th Birthday.
As they are from Chester-le-street County Durham, her family were all workers in the pits and the one her family worked in is now Beamish museum. So this La pashe decoupage,I obtained fron Joanna Sheens Online shop, suited her perfectly, as she loves anything to do with steam trains and coal pits.
I used a4 card and creased a spine down the centre to act like a book, which i ran the ribbon down, I covered the front with a piece of A5 glitter card and mat and layered the greeting backing paper.

Alison needs help
Alison has a request, checkout her blog for more info.......
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR NEWER POSTS, THANK YOUI live on a small island on the west coast of Scotland. My local branch of the British Legion are currently sending parcels to Iraq and Afghanistan for the British troops and I asked if they would like some cards to put in the boxes for the troops to send home to their loved ones or kids. To know that we can put a smile on someones face receiving a card from there loved ones that are so far away warms my heart. So what do you think girls, can we make them some cards? If you can help me out by sending me one or two cards it would be very much appreciated. Just a couple of things to remember about the cards
Cards sizes that are suitable A6, 6" square or smaller, 7 x 5
The inside of the card must be blank, you can put a paper insert in if you wish but just leave it blank.Once you have made your card, email me (its in my profile) and I will send you my address. Oh and just another wee thing if you could spread the word for me I would really appreciate it.If you are interested in making a card or two please leave a comment on this post.*If you have a blog you could put your blog address on the back of the card and maybe say "With compliments" just a thought but not necessary*

Sunday Challenge Dotties World...Inspire Me!!
Its Juliets turn over on Dotties World and she has come up with a thought provoking challenge!
Inspire Me!For this week's challenge I would like you to take inspiration from this photo of yummy cupcakes. You could focus on the colours, use a cupcake on your work or make a cupcake shaped card - it's up to you. You must include one of the Charmed downloads on your project and please tell us how the photo inspired you in your make"
This is my card, sorry about the poor quality, its was dark by the time I took the pic.
My inspiration from the pic was firstly Pink and brown, then being a piggy eating cupcakes and over indulging & cake!!!
