Sneek Peek! Pick of the week- Toread's

Well they are nearly here! The legendary Tiny Nymphs! 

The delightful little characters called 'Toreads'

On Friday 28th September 2012 on Create & Craft tv, Ideal World 

Crafter's Companion will be launching stamps and cds.

My sneek peek is slightly different, but shows just how versatile the characters are!

I used the image flora from decoupage section and imported into my software and made into a sheet of cupcakes toppers,quite easily,to print onto a sheet of edible icing,printed with edible inks .

So all you cake fanatics can make use of the cd's also! And what an eye catching display they would make for a celebration!

Tim Holtz Pick of the Week

Oh i was in heaven!!

I was sent, by Crafters Companion, products to make samples for the Brand New Today

Tim Holtz Pick of the Week on Create & Craft Tv,

which included their new embossing folders and Core dination 12 x 12 papers, made epsecially to match all the colours of Tim Holtz Distressed ink pads!

The coredinations has a different colour running through the 'Core' of the papers, then you sand the top with the sand it gadget and show the 'Core' colour.

For this card i embossed using the Polka dot embossing folder, which i used twice, by roughly lining up the dots and re embossing, so i go a larger piece of embossed paper,then i sanded it to show the light colour.

I used 3 birds Clearly stamped by Crafters Companion for Sentiment and for the corner embelishment, which i stamps Stazon black ink onto the coloured Coredinations paper and cut the corners out. The image is

Sheena Douglass' Simply Sweet stamp set, which used her Paint Fusion Technique to paint the lavender.

Live Beatrix Potter 2 show tomorrow with Leann

Make sure you tune in tomorrow on Create & Craft, for Leann Chivers live show at 10am,she will be showing Beatrix Potter 2, Jemima Puddleduck and Two Bad Mice and ofcourse be doing her fabulous demos!

 Fingers crossed Sara hasnt got stuck at an airport waiting to come home, today she was at Paris airport waiting for a connection!

The card i have shown is using printable acetate from Crafters Companion Printing paper pack, using one of the backing papers from the new cd, then i attached the Jemima Puddleduck topper and Sentiment using Collall glue gel, adding button embellishments in the corners, also adding a touch of gel glue to the centre of the flowers i added pinflair glitter to give a lovely bit of sparkle.
