finding pics not shown on here

Here is a clock i made using Jayne Nestorenko's Christmas cd,Winters Tale, from last year, the actually clock house,is the nativity in the cd and i adapted it into the clock, this also was before i ever had a craft robo so was lovingly all cutout by hand.
I stamp the Cute companion image and attached her to a piece of acetate to make her appear to stand freely. The ivy is made using Crafter Companion embossing board and cutting out and colouring with watercolour pencils, then spraying with Spray & Shine.

Christmas Candle
This is made with the free gift in the new November Issue 80 of Quick Cards Made Easy.
The free gift is a sheet of cute Christmas stamps by Alys Paterson.
Heres how i decorated the candle:-
You will need:-
Tissue paper,
A sponge & water,
Scissors,
Heatgun,
Ink pad, Stazon if using pencils or Memento if using alcohol based pens like,Promarkers or Copics
Colouring medium, I used Promarkers and Sakura gel pens.
How to:-
I Stamped my images onto Tissue paper and cut around the images to remove excess tissue paper, you can just use a strip.
On the reverse of the tissue paper i dampened with a sponge & water, make sure you dont saturate the tissue paper or it will break up.
I added it to the candle, carefully smoothing to make sure it was clinging to the candle, then with the heat gun,not too close,I heated the tissue,it will start to dry, then seem to dissapear into the candle, leaving the image, thats when its done, dont hold heat on constantly or the candle will drip, work your way across the tissue image until the tissue had adhered to the candle.
Leave to cool and you'll have a uniquely decorated candle.

65th Birthday card-Joanna Sheen-Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady
I was asked by my mum to make a 65th Birthday card 'The Big One' for one of the nurses at the hospital she attends. And i reached straight away for my stash of Joanna Sheen discs! My mum wanted a lovely bright, flowery and cheerful card and i just love this image from the decoupage section of Country Diary of An Edwardian Lady, i picked a different backing paper from the cd,to match the light green and yellow and using my new 'Marianne Creatables' die, i cut out the ribbon boarder and ran silver rbbon through the holes, my mum wanted 'The Big One' on the card, but i didnt want to detract from the beautiful decoupage, so i decided to add it in a tag, which i printed on MS Word and then cutout using SpellBinders Nestabilities 'Large Deckled Rectangles'
This is a large 8x8 sqaure card, so,as it was being hand delivered i made a nice box to put it in with a matching tag for the lid.

Distressed or what!!- Another peek of Sheena Douglass new collection
I really got my teeth into distressing on this a5 card.
Using stamps from 'Wouldn' it be lovely 2 '
by Sheena Douglass, which will be launching on Saturday morning 2nd October 2010.
I firstly cut a rectangle of watercolour heavy weight paper and spent a good hour, having fun and going with the flow, distressing it withTim Holtz ink, scraping with scissors and smudging with a wet & dry piece of foam. For the backing paper i used the small stamp of horse racing, which i randomly stamped, 2 or 3 times before inking,to give different intensity, using Centurra pearl ivory card.I then ripped across the card to give a rough edge.
Then i stamped the lady, usinf stazon, lots of time and using a brush and water used 'Vintage photo' Distress ink, again and added the colour and shading to each image, then i cut it into decoupage, so she is 4 or 5 layers in depth.
Classic Sheena, i added the shadow on the tag, that i had cutout using a Spellbinder die, first stamping with stazon and quickly rubbing out,to leave only a shadow of words, then i stamped sligtly above again,to give a stronger words.
The flowers i used Spellbinder die and cutout tissue paper, which i then stained with 'vintage photo' ink, scrunched the layers together and added a brad to hold them in place.
Check back again for more info and inspiration!
Oh the Joys of being a Designer! Sneak Peek at Sheena Douglass new stamps-launching Saturday
Well... how lucky am i to have been sent the new set of stamps by the Ultra mega talented
Sheena Douglass!
She will be launching her new set of stamps on saturday,2nd October 2010 on Create & Craft
Here is a sneaky peek at one of the stamps plates.
This card is made using images from the 'Bah Humbug 1' set.
I brayered the background, using Tim Holtz Distress inks, then stamped the image, using stazon and with a brush and plain water i washed the colour out to give the reflection/glo of the moon, which i had masked up before i brayered the background. Then, using Faded Jeans and Black Soot distress inks i simple used them like a paint pot and added shade to the buildings.
Stamped the greeting with stazon and heat embossed with clear gloss embossing powder,as with the holly, which i sprayed with multicolour spray & sparkle from Crafters Companion. These are also on the stamp sheet. The backing paper is taken from Jayne Nestorenko's Adorable Cd.
Keep checking back for more peeks!
