This is the magnificent Lioness set of stamps, i used promarkers to add the depth of colours, her eyes just leap off the card at you!

I cut the angle from the front of an 8x8 card and mounted the lioness head onto the vine backing paper, then gold and mounted onto the front of the card.

For the inside backing paper I again used the smaller stamps from the lioness samp set, using versafine and Cosmic shimmer, then sprayed with Gold Spray and Sparkle from Crafters companion

This is the same stamp but this time using Derwent watercolour pencils for the lioness' head which gives a whole different look to the stamp, which I stamped onto parchment.
I used the small paw print stamp with versafine and cosmic shimmer.

This is an easel card using the Lion head and the small stamps from the Lion set, i used Derwent watercolour pencils and the embossed flash is from Crafters Companion embossing board

This is again the Lion head and the larger paw prints from the Lion set

As promised a sneeky peek of the Beatrix Potter Launch-Crafters Companion,IdealWorld/Create & Craft

Here is the first look at some of my Beatrix Potter Samples for next weeks launch!
Make sure you check out Ideal World/Create & Craft Tuesday 9pm for the launch and throughout the day on Wednesday 17th til 9pm

This is a large 8x8 card, I printed a backing paper from the 4cd set onto vellum, then I used a stamp from the Peter Rabbit set of Stamps and watercoloured the exact colours with Derwent Watercolour pencils, there is an attached colour sheet to help you get the right stamp set.
To attached the vellum I sprayed with Stick and Stay, available also from Crafters Companion, to invisibly stick the vellum to the card.

This is an Easel Card, using the backing paper from the 4 cd set, the little Robin is from the Peter Rabbit Stamps set, I quilled the BlueBell using the idea from, my dear friend, Janet Wilson's book Quilled Wild Flowers, by Search press.

I think the quilling lends itself perfectly to the original art work of Beatrix Potter!
I appologise for the 'off' colours in the photo's, as my daylight bulb has blown!!

Proceed's to the Haiti Disaster

I have been lucky enough to, this week, get a Craft Robo!! Yeah!! While flicking through blogs and websites I came across a lady,Jan, on Joanna Sheen's forum, showing her gorgeous card she made using a download for the Craft Robo where the proceeds are going to the Haiti Disaster fund! This is my first attempt to make a card with the robo, so ,shall we say, its 'lacking' in lots of areas, but if you have a Robo and my basic card makes you go and buy the download then its all worthwhile! The lovely ladys blog is Lovestocraft, she is on the design team of the site selling the downloads, her stuff is fantastic!! The website is   http://www.forevermemoriesforyou.co.uk/
so make sure you go and check it out!

Popcorn Romance-Pick of the week Create & Craft/Ideal World

Here are some more samples for Todays launch on Create & Craft / Ideal World 12-midday, of Popcorn Romance, by Crafters Companion!

This is an invertage image from the cd and the sentiment is made using a stamp from the set and heat embossing it

This one is using a twisterpage  image and backing paper from the cd, the backing paper I sprayed with Silver Spray & Sparkle also available from Crafters Companion

This popcorn image is a topper from the cd, for the backing I masked the card up using de-tacked masking tape (this is just where you stick the tape to your trousers or top to take some sticky off, so it doesnt rip the card) I sprayed lightly with Gold Spray & Sparkle and then re-masked the other direction, masking off the other sprayed squares, then, using the Gold spray & sparkle again, I sprayed slightly more heavily over the mask, then carefully peeling the tape of it gives different shades of gold glitter square, I also used Stick and spray, the permanent adhesive spray to attach the image and card.
