I will be adding my samples later to day.
Then on Sunday on Create & Craft,Ideal World Joanna Sheen will be launching her new CD the gorgeous Eastern Treasure, beautiful illustrations! I will be adding my samples on Saturday for the show.

Over on
Cute Daisy May the challenge for this week is 'emboss it'
I used the image from the new sheets available , i used the swiss dot embossing folder fromCuttlebug and lots of glitter card
This card is a large 8x8 square card.
I used the images from the Almond Blossom Fairie from
Crafters Companion Flower Fairies Cd.
The image has been pyramaged, thinly layered to keep the effect.

I printed the 8x8 backings papers straight from the cd and cut the card accordingly, leaving a small edge. The flowers are from my Hot off the press stash and I added the sentiment on the interactive part on the cd.

This is a close up of the pyramage.

I am very pleased to announce I am now on the Crafters Companion Design Team( on trial to start with)
I have met Sara and been a follower or Crafters Companion since the beginning! I look forward to showing you what I have made for them for Create & Craft , along with Joanna Sheen my work will hopefully be on there quite a bit.xx

I have just been asked to make a shoe for a young lady going to her school prom, this template is so adaptable to any papers and you can over dress or under dress it up! This is the
Cut & Craft Shoe TemplateI used prima flowers,Basic grey brads and the card for the main shoe is lovely mother of pearl type effect pink, I used a brother p-touch label printer for 'with Love' in the shoe. I used a jump ring to give the effect of the pin on the strap.
In the base I made a false floor using acetate and sprinkled stamped stars in the bottom.

Have been having a play! this is using the wonderful Shoe template from
Cut & Craft Templates, very easy and great fun to dress up the shoe!

Helping Hands Templates.
I also used hot foil to emboss the greeting I made on MS Word on the pc.

I have after much deliberation decided, to step down as a Design TeamMember on
Dotties World, I have been on the Team since the beginning, but now alas it is getting more difficult to get my cards in on time and I think the others are so much more talented than me,with all the fancy papers and brads etc.
This card is using the Chilled out
Mikey image and I deliberately left the background plain using denium & grey coloured card to make it look a bit like a jacket or jeans,I used Copcs to colour him and a cropadile for the eyelets.
I wish
Louise all the luck she deserves for the future, as she is an amazing talent!!
I have been refreshing my love of parchment, I havent done any in AGES!!
I just find it soo relaxing.
I treated myself yesterday to the May 2009 Parchment Craft Magazine and this pattern caught my eye.
The unusal part for parchment is the black pen,but it out lines the images perfectly.

This card has a very so lilac glow and would be wonderful for a new Baby card etc.x

Its
Adeles turn over on
Dotties World and she has chosen Teenager, it doesnt have to be a Mikey Download aslong as its a download from
Charmed Cards and Craft.
My card is made using a
Mikey image from the new download which I coloured with copic pens and a blender pen,the sentiment and overlay 'special friendship' 'stitching' and blue squares are by Hot off the press.

This is the latest set of downloads available from Charmed Cards and Crafts, designed by the amazingly talented
Louise Brigden,as I've had these to play with prior to release I can tell you they are amazing, Copics suit them perfectly, but equally any medium you want to use! Click the picture to go straight to them.
This card I made for my mums birthday, it is a large A4 card, I used purple glitter card for the matting and behind the circles which I punched out with a circle punch, this is the back of the card.
Its my turn to set the challenge over on
Dotties World and I apparently put everyone out of their 'comfort zone' well not everyone lol.
Got checkout the amazing cards, coz if thats out of their 'comfort zone' you'd never know to look at the cards they are amazing!!
My challenge is
Hand Made-I want it all hand made, if you use coloured backing paper i want you to make it, by stamps or ink pads and if you use embellishments I want you to make them.....
For my card, I again used my brayer and Adriondack ink pads, which are available at
Charmed cards and crafts, I used some un-mounted stamps for the bamboo and script, all the backing papers and landscape are made using inks and torn strips of card i used as templates, with a cirlcle cut out of a piece of paper for the sun template.
Oh my oh my just when you think Louise couldnt possibly get anymore talented, go take a look at her new blog Charmed Delectable Stamps, in colaboration with
Karen from
Charmed Cards and Crafts,
Louise has designed some stamps, they are amazing!! Go check it out and the blog candy!!!
I have finally managed to find my brayer, it has been buried in a bag under my stash!
Anyway, I've finally managed to have a play with my Adirondack pads I bought from Farnborough Make 5

This is what i used to make my card.
I used the brayer and ripped some random strips of card and used them as a template to use different layers of colours, also I cut a circle out of a whole piece of paper and placed over the card using the yellow/Red end of my Big Juicy pad I rolled the brayer over the template to make the Oriental Sun

I used my Copic liner to add the birds in the distance and a the black stazon and an un-mounted stamp for the script.
I haven't put a greeting on, as this could just me a 'Hi how are you' card or Thankyou.xx
Juliets challenge over on
Dotties World, is for 'all things bright and beautiful' lots of bright colours, thoughts of spring and Easter.

This is made using the image from
'Dottie and George Back to front' bundle of downloads,I think this is sucha a pretty image!!
I coloured the image using Copics, I extended the picture using flower soft stamps for the extra flower box, flowers and little bird, I added extra foliage by hand using Copics again, the backing paper is taken from the new
Messy Rabbit Cd from Joanna Sheen , I love the colours in it! I then added flowersoft to the flower box and flowers.xx
This is a card I made for my mum for mothers day, I used the papers and idea from Making Cards Magazine.

Inside I used a large stamp and used watercolour pencils the add the colour.

Sorry I wrote in it before I took the pic.x

This is a get well card for someone just out of hospital, I used the decoupage image & backing paper from
Joanna Sheens Messy Rabbit cd. Printing on glossy photo paper it gives gorgeous bright colours, to cheer the recipient up hopefully.
These are some bookatrix cards I made recently and havent had time to post.

This 90th Birthday card was another for my nan using decoupage from Making Cards Magazine. I used my big shot to get the 90.

This was a 50th Wedding Anniversary card I was asked to make, instead of peel offs which peel off, arrrggghhh!! I cut strips of the matching card and attached to the card with tacky glue,so I know they arnt going any where!!
This card is made following along with Louises Challenge over on Dottie world,of making a shaped card.
I used the idea from the Making Cards amgazine and the backing paper. Then used the image from the downloads of Holly & Madison & Girls about town sentiment, all available from charmed Cards and Crafts.

This is made simply from a strip of card, scored, cut and folded into shape.which then allows the card to fit into a c6 envelope.

I used Whispers Duo markers ( watercolour pens) to colour her and layered with glitter card.
Welcome to my wonderful world of Crafting
