I bought some Magnolia stamps,Edwin on a pencil and the other girly is Tilda Eating Gingerbread, I love colouring these in, I used water colour pens for these,gives a really neat and tidy effect.

Easter Pop-up card

This pop-up card I made entirely out off the bits and pieces that come with Issue13 of Lets Make cards,you get a magazine and lots of goodies, that go with the ideas/projects in the mag.

CUTE CARD THURSDAY-NEW BEGINNING CHALLENGE

This is the first challenge for a new blog called 'CUTE CARD THURSDAY' as the name says it is dedicated to cute and as it is their first challenge, they have chosen 'New Beginnings.
I stamped the 'House mouse' image and used watercolour pens to add the colour.
I then used a fine tip pen to doodle the stitches and added the glittered greeting.

ATC tin...

As it is Switch off/Go Green Week I thought I would recycle something. I had a sudden brain wave, that the empty tin for Colemans mustard powder is the exact right size for ATC’s. I wrap the tin in some lovely paper I had buried, then using a punch I punched out some flowers with the same paper & shaded the edges. Added a bit of ‘bling’ with the gems. for the lid I just stippled on some black & red stazon & finished with dabbing gold Brilliance on it, then I added the flowers and gems to the lid. Th whole thing measures just 2 3/4 ins x 4 3/4 ins.

I had some lovely oriental card with bamboo so worked with that, I stamped the geisha, added hot foil in gold on her head dress and some flowersoft for the flowers in her hair. The writing says, if I remember,...Health,wealth,love & happiness, not sure they are in that order.

DARING CARD MAKERS CHALLENGE

The mid week dare by DCM this week is by Mel - these are a few of my favourite things. What you need to do is use one of Mel's favourite things on your card (embroidery cotton/thread, buttons, felt or fabric) and combine it with one of your favourite things.

I made this for a fellow Crafter.

I saw this and thought of you.......................This card is completely different to my usual style, I thought I would try some doodles, I used some 8x8 paper from Dovecraft by British Designer Kate Knight, I love these papers they are so pretty! I roughly added layers to the blooms, not supposed to be perfect decoupage, then added the gems and had a play with doodles all the black is doodling. Then decided to stitch the ribbon round the edge, using my new single hole punch. I hope the recipient likes it & the little gift inside.!!
